Welcome to the Knit Witch Pottery Page!  DH (Wayne, aka Warlock) often makes other types of functional pottery in our little studio here in Blue Ridge, Georgia.  All of these products are lead-free (as are all of our products) so they are food safe and dishwasher safe.  We do recommend hand washing rather than using a dishwasher though simply to reduce the risk of breakage.  Please note that sometimes the pottery may have a tiny cosmetic crack on the bottom.  This is simply due to the extremely high temperatures (2,269 degrees) that the pottery is fired to.  None of these cosmetic flaws cause a disruption in the integrity or the functionality of the item.  If a crack is large, comes through to the interior of the item, reduces quality or functionality it is not sold.
