One of the most important parts about going on a road trip is that you wear comfortable clothes. You’re going to be sitting in the vehicle for the large majority of your trip, so you want to make sure that you are as comfortable as you can be. This is going to look slightly different depending on the season, but generally the rules are the same. Tight clothes are unnecessary unless you find them comfortable to wear. Sometimes driving for long periods can be a pain in the behind, so if there is more than one driver, it makes it easier. It allows people to sleep, it allows for rest, and it’s a good, fair way to do it. Discuss how you want to split the drive between however many people are willing to do this, and you should be good to go! Of course, if there is only one driver then this won’t be possible, but do allow for rest breaks to ensure that tiredness is not taking over at any point.
